The shape of the year
The Dragon thinks in large structures — a new company, a new market, a new identity. A neutral year does not block those plans, it simply gives them no subsidy. What it does reward is the unglamorous groundwork that makes a large plan survive contact with reality.
Both Dragon and Goat are Earth, so the year feels familiar rather than exciting. Familiar is useful: it is the state in which good systems get built.
Work
Build the boring infrastructure — the process, the documentation, the second person who can do your job. Dragons tend to skip this and then discover, two years later, that the structure was only ever one person deep.
Money
Money is stable and unremarkable. The opportunity is consolidation: refinance, renegotiate, tidy. A neutral year is the best possible year to fix something that is not yet broken.
Relationships
The Dragon is generous and slightly distant. In a Goat year the other person wants presence more than provision — the gesture lands better than the gift.
Health and energy
Earth signs carry tension in the digestion and the knees. Nothing acute this year; the point is the habit, not the crisis.
What to do with it
Write down the process for one thing only you currently know how to do.
One line is not a strategy, so treat it as a filter rather than an instruction: when two options look equally good this year, take the one that matches that sentence.
